2003 Georgie Boy Landau Owner Complaints

Reports submitted to NHTSA by owners and drivers, shown in full

Data refreshed

Complaints on fileComplaints are reports submitted to NHTSA by owners and drivers. NHTSA does not verify most reports before publishing them, and a complaint does not establish that a defect exists. Volume is influenced by how many of a vehicle were sold, how long it has been on the road, and how much attention an issue has received.

WEBB'S RV CENTER WAS PREPARING FOR SALE TO NEW FIRST OWNER AND DISCOVERED THAT THE EMERGENCY BRAKE WAS NEVER INSTALLED AT THE FACTORY. WEBB'S RV INCURRED A $306.00 REPAIR FEE TO FIX BRAKES. THIS UNIT SHIPPED TO US FROM GEORGIE BOY ON 12/22/2003 FROM MICHIGAN WITHOUT ITS BRAKE. WE CONTACTED WORKHORSE WHO MANUFACTURED THE CHASSIS AND GEORGIE BOY WHO BUILT THE RV ON THE FRAME AND INFORMED THEM OF THE OVERSIGHT. NEITHER ONE OF THEM ACCEPTED RESPONSABILITY FOR THE E-BRAKE OVERSIGHT. WEBB'S RV HAS COMPLETED THE REPAIRS BY SUBCONTRACTING OUT THE REPAIR TO AN AUTHORIZED WORKHORSE DEALERSHIP. SPECIFICALLY VARNEY GMC IN BANGOR MAINE. *TR
