FRONT SPRINGS ARE COMPLETELY COLLAPSED, BODY IS SITTING ON THE FRAME RUBBER STOPS. PASSENGER AIRBAG INSIDE COIL SPRING OK, DRIVER SIDE AIRBAG INSIDE COIL SPRING RUPTURED. TOOK TO A TRUCK REPAIR FACILITY IN WILMINGTON, NC AND THEY ARE VERY FAMILIAR WITH THE PROBLEM, HAVE REPAIRED MANY WORKHORSE CHASSIS. MECHANIC TOLD ME THE PROBLEM IS A RESULT OF WORKHORSE WIDENING THE FRONT TIRE SPAN BUT NOT REENGINEERING THE SPRING SUSPENSION, THUS THE SPRING FAILURE. I CALLED WORKHORSE BUT THEY HAVE NO RECALLS ON THIS UNIT. I FEEL THIS IS A SERIOUS SAFETY ISSUE AND SHOULD BE ADDRESSED BY WORKHORSE. COIL SPRINGS SHOULD NOT COLLAPSE. THE REPAIRS ARE TO BE COMPLETED NEXT WEEK, MARCH 26, 2012 AT MY EXPENSE, $850. *JS
