2015 Gulf Stream Innsbruck Owner Complaints

Reports submitted to NHTSA by owners and drivers, shown in full

Data refreshed

Complaints on fileComplaints are reports submitted to NHTSA by owners and drivers. NHTSA does not verify most reports before publishing them, and a complaint does not establish that a defect exists. Volume is influenced by how many of a vehicle were sold, how long it has been on the road, and how much attention an issue has received.

WE PURCHASED AN OFF THE LOT, NEW 2015 INNSBRUCK BY GULF STREAM ON SEPT. 26 2014. DROVE IT APPROX. 15 MILES AND SET ON DRIVEWAY FOR 11 DAYS. DROVE OFF FROM MI. TO TN. WE SET THE MILEAGE ON THE TRUCK. WE GOT EXACTLY 160 MILES, WITH CRUISE SET AT 65 MPH., AND THE RIGHT REAR TIRE BLEW, CAUSING THE WHOLE TREAD TO COME OFF OF THE WHEEL, AND FLAPPING EVERYTHING AROUND IT, RUINING THE WHEEL, UNDERCARRIAGE DAMAGED,RIPPED OUT INSULATION UNDER THE LIVING ROOM FLOOR, BENT THE METAL AROUND THE WHEEL WELL, BROKE THE PLASTIC FENDER. WATER DAMAGE UNDER SOFA, AS IT WAS POURING RAIN. VERY SCARY EXPERIENCE, ESPECIALLY BECAUSE I WAS ASSUMING THAT A BRAND NEW CAMPER WITH NEW TIRES WOULD BE AS SAFE AS YOU COULD GET. FISH TAILING ON A HIGHWAY GOING 65 MPH IS NOT SOMETHING ANYONE WOULD WANT TO EXPERIENCE. NOW I AM SCARED TO DEATH THAT THIS BRAND OF TIRE MIGHT NOT BE SAFE, AND I DON'T HAVE EXTRA MONEY TO PURCHASE EXPENSIVE TIRES FOR THIS. THESE TIRES ARE : SUPERCARGO RADIAL TRAILER ST 205/75 R 15 BEWARE!!! *TR
