2006 Gulf Stream Vista Cruiser Owner Complaints

Reports submitted to NHTSA by owners and drivers, shown in full

Data refreshed

Complaints on fileComplaints are reports submitted to NHTSA by owners and drivers. NHTSA does not verify most reports before publishing them, and a complaint does not establish that a defect exists. Volume is influenced by how many of a vehicle were sold, how long it has been on the road, and how much attention an issue has received.

What this page shows

Our database holds 3 NHTSA owner-reported complaints for the 2006 Gulf Stream Vista Cruiser. Each one is a report filed by an owner or driver and published by NHTSA without most of them being verified. A complaint is not a confirmed defect, not a recall and not a manufacturer bulletin. Narratives are shown exactly as filed.

Complaints are reports submitted by owners and drivers to NHTSA. They are not verified and do not establish that a defect exists.

I PURCHASED A NEW GULFSTREAM BT CRUISER ON 2/26/08 - A 2006 MODEL. WHEN I HAD EXTENDED VALVE PUT ON MY REAR DUAL TIRES I WAS TOLD BY THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT THAT THE INSIDE TIRES WERE "SUN CHECKED" DAMAGED AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. ALL OF THE OUT SIDE TIRES ARE NEW - SO THE DEALER TOOK THE OUTSIDE REAR DUAL TIRES AND PLACED THEM ON THE INSIDE WHERE THEY COULD NOT BEEN SEEN. THE DEALER IS JC'S RV IN LIVERMORE, CA. I FEEL THAT WHAT THEY HAVE DONE IN UNETHICAL BUSINESS PRACTICES AND FRAUD, BESIDES THE FACT THAT THEY HAVE PLACED MY LIFE IN DANGER WITH THE POSSIBILITY OF A BLOWOUT FROM DAMAGED TIRES THAT I ASSUMED WERE NEW LIKE THE OTHER 4 TIRES. I DO NOT WANT TO DEAL WITH THE DEALERSHIP SINCE I CANNOT TRUST THEM. I AM IN THE PROCESS OF WORKING WITH THE MANUFACTURER GULF STREAM TO GET THE TIRES REPLACED WITH NO CHARGE TO ME. THIS SEEMS TO BE A LENGHTY PROCESS AND IN THE MEAN TIME I AM AFRAID TO DRIVE THE MOTORHOME FOR FEAR OF A BLOWOUT. MY GULFSTREAM MEMBER NUMBER IS #53-3678. MELISSA ELLINGSON. *TR

Higher-selling and older vehicles accumulate more reports. Counts are not failure rates and are not directly comparable between vehicles that sold in very different numbers.
