The defect: Harbinger Motors Inc (Harbinger) is recalling certain 2026 Step Van and 2025 Stripped Chassis vehicles. The steering gear mounting bolts may come loose or break.
The risk: Broken or loose steering gear bolts can cause a loss of steering control, increasing the risk of a crash.
The remedy: Dealers will inspect and replace the steering gear assembly bolts with chemical threadlock patches, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed August 21, 2026. Harbinger's number for this recall is REC-04-00003.

This TSB is recommended to address certain camera cables identified as non conforming, leading to intermittent camera connection loss. The root cause has been traced to a 90° connector part that loses connection under vibration. To address camera connection loss, camera cables can be replaced with NEW cables with straight connectors.
