DT: THE CONTACT RECEIVED NHTSA RECALL 05V430000 FROM HARLEY DAVIDSON ON 11-8-05 REGARDING VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL: CABLES. HE TOOK THE MOTORCYCLE TO A DEALER, AND THE DEALER SAID THEY COULD NOT PERFORM RECALL REPAIRS UNTIL IT WAS FACTORY APPROVED. THE FACTORY SAID THEY WOULD NOT APPROVE THE RECALL REPAIR.
