TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2000 HARLEY DAVIDSON FLHT. WHILE RIDING THE VEHICLE AT AN UNKNOWN SPEED, THE CONTACT HEARD A NOISE COMING FROM THE MOTOR. HE TOOK THE VEHICLE TO THE REPAIR SHOP AND WAS INFORMED THAT THE CAM BEARING ASSEMBLY NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THIS IS THE BEARING THAT IS LOCATED IN THE MOTOR. THE CONTACT WOULD BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE REPAIR COSTS BECAUSE THE DEALER REFUSED TO REPAIR IT UNDER WARRANTY. THE CONTACT BELIEVES THE FAILURE IS A SAFETY HAZARD. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 19,843.
