What this page shows
Everything below is an owner-reported complaint submitted to NHTSA about the 2012 Harley-Davidson Flhtcuse, grouped by the component NHTSA recorded on the report. These are not confirmed defects, and they are not recalls. NHTSA does not verify most reports before publishing them, and a category with more reports in it is not evidence that a part is defective.
Complaints are reports submitted by owners and drivers to NHTSA. They are not verified and do not establish that a defect exists.

From owner reports, verbatim
SINCE VEHICLE WAS NEW, THERE IS A SEVERE ISSUE WITH MOVEMENT OR WOBBLE OF THE MOTORCYCLE AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS. THIS DOES NOT APPEAR TO BE MADE WORSE BY OTHER VEHICLES IN CLOSE PROXIMITY, AND ISSUE HAS BEEN EXPERIENCED ON OPEN ROADS WITH NO OTHER VEHICLES AROUND AND NO WIND. ISSUE APPEARS TO BE A FRONT END PROBLEM. TIRES HAVE BEEN CHECKED, ALIGNMENT HAS BEEN CHECKED, FRONT SHOCKS HAVE BEEN CHECKED, WHEELS HAVE BEEN CHECKED. NOTHING HAS CORRECTED THE PROBLEM. LOCATED A DEALER WITH A DIFFERENT STYLE FRONT WHEEL AND HAD IT INSTALLED IN PLACE OF THE FACTORY WHEEL AND ISSUE WENT AWAY. HAD FACTORY WHEEL REINSTALLED AND PROBLEM CAME BACK. I BELIEVE THAT THE DESIGN OF THE CHROME "CHISEL" FRONT WHEEL IS CAUSING TURBULENCE WHICH MAKES THE MOTORCYCLE UNSTABLE AT ANY SPEED ABOVE 60 MPH. *TR

Higher-selling and older vehicles accumulate more reports. Counts are not failure rates and are not directly comparable between vehicles that sold in very different numbers.
