What this page shows
Everything below is an owner-reported complaint submitted to NHTSA about the 2007 Harley-Davidson Fxstsse, grouped by the component NHTSA recorded on the report. These are not confirmed defects, and they are not recalls. NHTSA does not verify most reports before publishing them, and a category with more reports in it is not evidence that a part is defective.
Complaints are reports submitted by owners and drivers to NHTSA. They are not verified and do not establish that a defect exists.

MY 2007 HARLEY-DAVIDSON 110 CU IN MOTOR HAS A WARPED REAR CYLINDER HEAD, ONLY 8,400 MILES. *TR
EXCESSIVE HEAT FROM MOTOR MAKING THE MOTORCYCLE UNCOMFORTABLE TO RIDE OIL TEMPS REACHING 260 DEGREES IN OIL TANK THAT IS UNDER THE SEAT RESULTING IN LEGS AND LOWER EXTREMITY DISCOMFORT. DEALER HAS RETURNED THE BIKE TWO TIMES AND INSTALLED A HARLEY DAVIDSON SERT AND NEW EXHAUST AND THE HEAT IS STILL PRESENT. I AM CONCERNED THE EXCESSIVE HEAT MAY CAUSE THE MOTOR TO LOCK UP ,THEREFORE RESULTING IN INJURY OR DEATH. *TR
