2012 Harley-Davidson Vrscf Owner Complaints

Reports submitted to NHTSA by owners and drivers, shown in full

Data refreshed

Complaints on fileComplaints are reports submitted to NHTSA by owners and drivers. NHTSA does not verify most reports before publishing them, and a complaint does not establish that a defect exists. Volume is influenced by how many of a vehicle were sold, how long it has been on the road, and how much attention an issue has received.

I WAS RIDING MY 2012 HARLEY DAVIDSON VROD MUSCLE, COMING TO A STOP ON A RED LIGHT MY REAR BRAKE FROZE SOLID, I WAS NOT ABLE TO PRESS THE BRAKE PEDAL, I LOST MY BRAKE AND COULD NOT STOP THE BIKE PROPERLY. THE BRAKE PEDAL STAYED FROZEN, I AM UNABLE TO USE THE BRAKE I THINK THIS IS RELATED TO THE HARLEY DAVIDSON ABS FAILURE. I AM VERY CONCERNED ABOUT RIDING AND NOT BEING ABLE TO STOP THE MOTORCYCLE
