I HAD CAR CHECK AT SHOP AND THEY SAY THE TEMPERATURE MIX MOTOR STAYS IN HOT POSITION. *TR
BROKE DOWN ON HIGHWAY WITH WATER AND SMOKE EVERYWHERE. HAD IT TOWED TO A GARAGE AND HAD TO HAVE THE HEAD GASKET REPLACED . FORD REFUNDED US THE MONEY AND IT WORKED FOR AWHILE BUT BEGAN OVERHEATING AGAIN AND HAD TO ADD WATER EVERYDAY. HUSBAND PASSED AWAY IN 2006 AND UNTIL 2008 EXCEPT FOR STARTING IT, I DID NOT DRIVE IT. HAD THE COOLING SYSTEM FIXED AGAIN AT MY COST AND I AM BACK APPROX 6 MTS WITH THE SAME PROBLEM OVERHEATING AGAIN AND CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ON. CAR SOUNDS AWFUL AND I CANNOT AFFORD TO FIX IT AGAIN. *TR
HEATER CORE PROBLEMS. I PURCHASED THIS CAR IN NOV. 07 SINCE THEM THEY HAVE INSTALLED 3 CORES AND IT NEEDS ANOTHER ONE NOW. WHAT IS THE PROBLEM I HAVE A GOOD IDEA. THE PERSON WHO OWNED IT BEFORE ME HAD PROBLEMS TOO. I CANT TAKE IT ON A TRIP OR USE IT FOR ANYTHING. I WAS GOING TO GET ME ANOTHER P/U TRUCK BUT UNSURE NOW. THE CAR HAS 55,500 MILES ON IT AND IT IS LEMON. *TR
BLEND DOORS IN THE HEATING SYSTEM WILL NO LONGER FUNCTION CREATING A SAFETY ISSUE DUE TO THE DEFROSTER NOT WORKING IN THE MORNING. I HAVE HAD THIS REPLACED ONCE ALREADY AND IT IS MALFUNCTIONING ONCE AGAIN. *TR

They are not recalls: repairs described in a bulletin are usually only free if the vehicle is still under warranty or the manufacturer has extended coverage.
