The defect: The Heil Co. (Heil) is recalling certain 2023-2025 side loader garbage trucks equipped with certain Agility Fuel Solutions CNG Fuel Systems, using part number 10300466. The manual cylinder valves may develop stress corrosion cracks in the bottom plugged port, causing a leak.
The risk: A natural gas leak in the presence of an ignition source increases the risk of a fire.
The remedy: Agility will replace the valves, free of charge. All affected garbage trucks were repaired by August 14, 2025. Owners may contact Agility's customer service at 1-844-474-7400 or Heil's customer service at 1-866-275-4345.

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:12V/24V/48V BATTERY

The defect: The Heil Co. (Heil) is recalling certain 2020-2023 Side Loader garbage trucks. The battery support bracket may break and damage the battery case, possibly resulting in a battery rupture.
The risk: A battery rupture increases the risk of a fire.
The remedy: Owners are advised to park outside and away from structures until the remedy is completed. Heil will replace the batteries, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed August 11, 2025. Owners may contact Heil customer service at 1-866-275-4345.

STRUCTURE:BODY

This Heil Technical Service Notice is to ensure that the grabber arm remains level in relation to the body to avoid undue wear on the wear pads. If the grabber arm is tilting, it may cause uneven wear on the wear pads, exacerbating the tilt of the grabber arm. Shims should be inserted in between the inner and outer boom to level the grabber arm.
