2005 Holiday Rambler Alumascape Owner Complaints

Reports submitted to NHTSA by owners and drivers, shown in full

Data refreshed

Complaints on fileComplaints are reports submitted to NHTSA by owners and drivers. NHTSA does not verify most reports before publishing them, and a complaint does not establish that a defect exists. Volume is influenced by how many of a vehicle were sold, how long it has been on the road, and how much attention an issue has received.

WE HAVE HAD THREE WHEELS ON OUR 2005 HOLIDAY RAMBLER ALUMASCAPE FIFTH-WHEEL BREAK LOOSE AT THE CENTER PORTION OF THE WHEEL. THESE WERE ALL WHILE WE WERE AWAY FROM HOME ON LONG TRIPS. WE HAVE HAD TO PURCHASE THREE REPLACEMENT WHEELS---NONE ARE ALIKE AT THE TIME, SINCE THEY WERE PURCHASED ON THE ROAD WHERE EVER WE WERE ABLE TO GET ONE TO FIT THE FIFTH WHEEL AT THE TIME. SINCE THIS OCCURRENCE SEEMED ODD TO US, WE CHECKED TO FIND OUT THAT THERE WAS A RECALL ISSUED SHORTLY AFTER WE PURCHASED OUR RV. UNFORTUNATELY, WE NEVER RECEIVED A RECALL NOTICE. WE WERE NOTIFIED EACH TIME BY PASSING MOTORIST WHO MOTIONED FOR US TO PULL OVER AND CHECK OUR WHEEL. *TR
