The defect: MONACO IS RECALLING CERTAIN MOTOR HOMES EQUIPPED WITH NORCOLD REFRIGERATORS. A FATIGUE FAILURE IN THE SECTION OF THE COOLING UNIT WHICH CONTAINS THE REFRIGERANT COULD ALLOW THE LIQUID SOLUTION TO SLOWLY LEAK.
The risk: EXTENDED OPERATION OF A LEAKING COOLING UNIT COULD LEAD TO A FIRE FROM GAS WHICH MIGHT ESCAPE.
The remedy: MONACO IS WORKING WITH NORCOLD TO REPAIR THESE REFRIGERATORS. NORCOLD WILL PROVIDE THERMAL SWITCH KITS TO OWNERS ALONG WITH THE NECESSARY FORMS AND INSTRUCTIONS. THE RECALL BEGAN ON AUGUST 29, 2008. OWNERS MAY CONTACT NORCOLD AT 1-800-767-9101 OR MONACO AT 1-800-685-6545.

PREMATURE TIRE DETERIATION BY CRACKS IN SIDEWALL.40000 MILES ON THIS TIRE OVER PERIOD OF 5 YEARS .MICHELIN RV HAVE HISTORY OF CRACKING EVEN THOUGH MAINTATNED PROPERLY AND DRIVEN PROPERLY ,LOADED PROPERLY AND DRIVEN REASONABILE MILAGE PR YEAR .I HAD PREVIOUS TROULBE WITH MICHELIN RV TIRES WITH 3 BLOW OUTS ,EVEN NO APARENT DEFECT SHOWING INCASING OF TIRE. THIS TIRE IS A XRV SERIES 12`PLY RV TIRE .IT HAS NOT B;LOWN OUT BUT WILL BE REPLACED DUE TO PREMATURE DEFECT IN SIDEWALL BY CRACKS SHOWING.MICHELIN SHOULD BE NOTIFIED OF INCIPIENT FAILURE IF CONTINUED IN SERVICE .MY EXPERIENCE WITH MICHELIN CORP.HAS NOT BEEN GOOD IN PAST ,THEY CLAIMING I DID NOT MAINTAIN TIRE PROPERLY .I CHANGED TO ANOTHER BRAND TIRE OTHER HOLIDAY RAMBLER I OWNED AND THSE TIRES DID NOT DETERIATE IN SIDEWALL OVER 6 YEARS USEAGE .I CONSIDER THESE MICHELIN RV TIRES A SAFETY HAZARD`AND VERY DANGEROUS TO BE USED ON RV UNITS .
