2002 Holiday Rambler Rambler Owner Complaints

Reports submitted to NHTSA by owners and drivers, shown in full

Data refreshed

Complaints on fileComplaints are reports submitted to NHTSA by owners and drivers. NHTSA does not verify most reports before publishing them, and a complaint does not establish that a defect exists. Volume is influenced by how many of a vehicle were sold, how long it has been on the road, and how much attention an issue has received.

What this page shows

TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2002 HOLIDAY RAMBLER FIFTH WHEEL TRAVEL TRAILER. WHILE DRIVING AT AN UNKNOWN SPEED, THE CONTACT STOPPED THE VEHICLE TO MAKE A LEFT TURN. IN THE MIDDLE OF THE TURN, THE REAR PASSENGER SIDE TIRE SHEARED OFF. THE CONTACT OBSERVED THAT THE INSIDE DIAMETER OF THE RIM WAS STILL ATTACHED, BUT THE REST OF THE RIM AND TIRE WERE GONE. HE WAS ABLE TO DRIVE 50 YARDS TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD. MONACO STATED THAT THEY WERE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE REPAIRS. IN 2005, THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED ACCORDING TO A MANUFACTURER RECALL. THE RIM AND TIRE MANUFACTURER STATED THAT THEY WOULD CALL THE CONTACT ON JUNE 9, 2009. THE RIMS HAD TO BE REPLACED IN 2004 AND 2005. THE NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER WAS UNKNOWN. THE CURRENT AND FAILURE MILEAGES WERE 30,000.
