ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:WIRING:FUSES AND CIRCUIT BREAKERS

The defect: THE FUSE HOLDER CONTACT SPRING ON THE INVOLVED VEHICLES IS DEFECTIVE IN THAT IT CAN CAUSE HIGH TEMPERATURES TO DEVELOP AT THE FUSE, AND THE FUSE MAY FAIL. FAILURE OF THE MAIN FUSE WOULD CAUSE ALL ELECTRICAL FUNCTIONS TO CEASE, INCLUDING LIGHTS AND IGNITION.
The remedy: DEALER WILL INSTALL A FUSE BOX WHICH CONTAINS A MORE EFFECTIVE SPRING, AT NO COST TO OWNER.

MY MOTORCYCLE IS HAVING A DANGEROUS INTERMITTENT ELECTRONIC FAILURE THAT IS UNDER RECALL BUT HONDA SAYS MY MODEL WAS NOT EFFECTED AND REFUSES TO FIX IT. FUSE BOX AND WIRING GETS HOT AND BIKE LOOSES ALL POWER AND SHUTS DOWN COMPLETELY. THE BIKE IS A 1978 HONDA CB750F # . THIS FORM WOULD NOT ACCEPT A VIN OF LESS THAN 17 CHARACTERS SO I ADDED 4 TO THE END FOR SUBMISSION, THE ABOVE VIN IS CORRECT. *TR
