DT: THE CONTACT OWNS A 2003 HONDA CBR600RR MOTORCYCLE, HE RECEIVED A RECALL ON THE REAR BRAKE LINKAGE. PRIOR TO THE RECALL, THE CONTACT HAD AN ACCIDENT. HE WAS SLOWING DOWN TO MAKE A LEFT HAND CURVE, AND THE REAR BRAKES LOCKED, CAUSING A COLLISION. . THE SERVICE DEALER HAD THE MOTORCYCLE FOR ABOUT 2 MONTHS. THE CONSUMER WENT TO THE SERVICE DEALER THREE TIMES, AND THEY STATED THEY COULD NOT FIND ANYTHING TO REPLACE ON THE REAR BRAKES. THE CONSUMER HAS NOT CONTACTED THE MANUFACTURER OF THE MOTORCYCLE.*AK
WHILE APPLYING THE BRAKES THEY LOCKED UP. CONSUMER LOST CONTROL OF THE MOTORCYCLE AND CRASHED. CONSUMER HAD THE MOTORCYCLE TOWED TO THE DEALER. *AK
