GARAGE KEPT AND NOT RIDDEN EVERY DAY OR FOR LONG RIDES, GAS TANK CLEAR COAT STARTED TO COME OFF FOR NO APPARENT REASON.
I HAVE A 2003 HONDA CBR954RR, MY COMPLAINT IS THAT I NOTICE THE SMELL OF ANTIFREEZE WHEN I COME TO A STOP. I TOOK A CLOSER LOOK AND NOTICED ANTIFREEZE SEEPING FROM A CRACK IN THE CYLINDER HEAD UNDERNEATH THE SECOND HEADER FROM THE LEFT. I HAVE READ FORUMS AND FOUND THAT THIS HAS BEEN A PROBLEM FOR SEVERAL OWNERS OF THIS BIKE. APPARENTLY THERE HAVE NOT BEEN ENOUGH COMPLAINTS TO START A RECALL ON THIS PROBLEM. *TR
Higher-selling and older vehicles accumulate more reports. Counts are not failure rates and are not directly comparable between vehicles that sold in very different numbers.
