We were not injured. We fixed the problem before we did get hurt..message came up.. “Check airbag system”. We had t replace our driver’s side airbag at the cost of over $1,500.

I HAVE A 2012 HONDA CIVIC LX, IT HAS INTERMITTENT PROBLEMS WITH UNINTENDED ACCELERATION. IT OCCURRED TWICE ON THE HIGHWAY AND ALSO URBAN AREA. JUST THIS MORNING, IT HAPPENED AGAIN I WAS ON THE HIGHWAY WHEN I NOTICED THE CAR SUDDENLY ACCELERATES AND SPEEDS UP WITHOUT STEPPING THE GAS PEDAL. FORTUNATELY THE BRAKES RESPONDED TO SLOW DOWN. I CAME OUT OF THE HIGHWAY, AND I HAD TO STOP AT A RED LIGHT BUT STILL IT WAS A CONSTANT FIGHT ACCELERATION BY ITSELF AND STEPPING ON THE BRAKE UNTIL THE CAR WILL OPERATE NORMALLY.

LAST YEAR, IN OUR STATE WE HAVE SOME SNOW AND WHEN I ON MY WAY TO WORK I FEEL EVERYTHING SHAKING STARTING FROM THE WHEEL. WHEN I CHECK UNDER THE CAR THERE WAS NOTHING BUT ICE UNDER THE CAR. AFTER SNOW CLEARS OUT MY STEERING WHEEL IS NOT RIGHT ANYMORE. IT KEPT PULLING TO THE SIDE WHILE I WAS DRIVING EVEN AT LOW SPEED. SO I DON'T KNOW WHAT THE PROBLEM IS.

ABS/VSA module faulty. Upon internet research it seems to be a very common problem among owners of this vehicle.

Driving around town, I stopped our 2012 Honda Civic at a stoplight. The brake pedal vibrated from the ABS modulator, then went all the way to the floor. I had the brake system checked at a workshop, bled the brake lines, and the same situation repeated. It was recommended I replace the brake modulator and brake pump. I called our Honda dealer and the brake pump is on hard backorder with no indication of when or if it will be available. A check of junkyards showed very few of these pumps potentially available, indicating demand is very strong. Many of the Civics in the junkyards we saw were totalled due to front end collissions. Perhaps they discovered the brake issue too late? The car is not driveable. After reviewing forums and [XXX] there were many reports of brake problems with 2012 - 13 Honda Civics. I believe this warrants a close look. Brakes are the most important part of any motor vehicle in my opinion, and until there is a remedy my car will sit as a 3,000 lb paperweight. So according to Honda Service Bulletin 20-030, all honda civic 2012-2015 hybrids having IMA Motor Power Inverter (MPI) have to fixed. I have the SAME CAR, SAME MODEL, SAME YEAR AND SAME ERROR CODES AS THE SERVICE BULLETIN AND THIS IS SUCH A SERIOUS ELECTRICAL POWER INVERTER ISSUE. Yet HONDA IS denying to work on it, even though there is 15 years or 150,000 miles warranty for this specific issue and MY CAR HAS 95000 miles. Yet HONDA is trying to run away from fixing it by claiming the VIN number is not associating whereby MY CAR IS EXACT SAME AS THE MODEL, year and issue for the GIVEN SERVICE BULLETIN. This is complete absurd and consumer rights are being thrown away by Honda. I am very sure that my United States NHTSA, state consumer protection, federal trade commission, all are going to help me and make Honda pay for this. I purchased a vehicle from a private seller on offer up. The seller stated the vehicle was clean title, he also stated the vehicle was low mileage with 112,000. When I got the vehicle the tire sensor was showing on the dash and the air bag sensor. After purchasing the vehicle I later found out the vehicle was salvage, and the mileage is also roughly 180,000 miles or more.

Paint defect. Paint faded and clouded on vehicle due to cheap paint used during manufacturing. I was never notified about the extended warranty. I contacted Honda and let them know, but was told the warranty ended. I financed my vehicle through American Honda for 5 years, and serviced my vehicle via Honda dealerships. Never did this come up as a possible repair that I could have fixed by them. I was told that Honda used a third party to contact owners.

It has happened more than once since 3 years ago. If I’m running my AC in the car, when I accelerate the car will skip/jump. It’s extremely expensive to repair and the problem isn’t even getting fixed. I basically can’t run my AC if it’s hot outside

WE BOUGHT THE CAR,WE BEEN DRIVING IT NORMALLY AND THE AIRBAG LIGHT COMES ON EVERY TIME WE START THE CAR FOR THE PAST WEEK

PASSENGER AIRBAG NEVER DETECTS WHEN MY SON OR ANOTHER PRETEEN CLOSE TO HIS AGE IS SITTING IN THE SEAT. IT ALWAYS TURNS OFF/ DEACTIVATES. IF THERE WAS AN ACCIDENT THE AIRBAG WOULD NOT DEPLOY AND PROVIDE SAFETY FOR MY CHILD OR HIS COUSINS WHEN INSIDE MY VEHICLE.

TAKATA RECALL AIR BAG LIGHT CONTINUES TO TURN ON AND OFF WHEN SOMEONE PUTS ON A SEAT BELT OR SITS IN THE BACK SEAT

Front passenger seat belt pretensioner (Honda part #HP04814-TR3-A00ZA) deployed too late after a minor impact (<10 mph) causing passenger to lurch forward until seat belt engaged. The part is not available for inspection. Passenger's safety was at risk due to not being held firmly in place by the seat belt. Don't know if Honda has confirmed/reproduced this issue. Car was inspected by Honda dealership on 11/28/21. No other impact related damage or parts failure discovered by Honda during inspection. Honda replacement part (Honda part #HP04814-TR3-A00ZA) ordered at that time. Replacement part was backordered and did not arrive until 9/1/23. No warning lamps/messages/other symptoms prior to failure.

The airbag popped for no reason, and Honda was unable to fix it, 8 months in the dealership with no progress.

dealership found this Honda one brake light blub only with 26764 miles in early 2021. I complained to Honda, they claimed and a case 12786775 and let me called them, then told me "out of warranty". Honda then closed the case. This is a quality of light blub issue, not warranty. In fact 1. Dealership said it is not often saw, only saw a few, you are unluck. One out of 10000 blub can like that. 2. I had a few Honda before, all light blubs will be good even they were more than 80000 miles and more than 12 or 15 years old. This is a clearly quality issue. Honda need replace it freely. Thanks.

CAR WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO START WITHOUT A JUMP FOR MONTHS. GOT 2 NEW BATTERIES. 3 NEW ALTERNATORS. KEPT HAPPENING. NOW I MUST KEEP HEADLIGHTS ON AT ALL TIMES, EVEN IN THE BRIGHTEST DAYLIGHT, OR ELSE BATTERY WILL BEGIN TO LOSE CHARGE AGAIN.

AT 70,000 MILES MY "VSA ALERT" AND "CHECK STEERING ALERT" HAS BEEN FLASHING ON MY DASHBOARD. HONDA SERVICE "CLAIMS THEY NEVER SAW SUCH A COMPLAINT" BUT LAST WEEK HONDA MOTOR CORPORATION ISSUED A RECALL TO FIX THIS ISSUE ON 130,000 HONDA VEHICLES FOR THIS SAME PROBLEM. THE FIX COULD RUN OVER $2,000.00 . THIS ALERT FLASHES AND BEEPS, ANNOYINGLY, WHILE AUTO IS STATIONARY AND MOVING, IT FLASHES CONSTANTLY NOW FOR THE LAST 7,000.

VIBRATION AND EXTREME ROUGHNESS WHEN SHIFTING GEAR TO REVERSE AND DRIVE. THE MOTOR MOUNTS HAVE BEEN REPLACED IN 2016, 2017, 2018.

I WAS TRAVELING ON ELKRIDGE LANDING ROAD AND MERGED RIGHT ONTO THE RAMP THAT MERGES TO WEST NURSERY ROAD. THE RAMP HAS A POT HOLE WHICH BASED ON ITS PLACEMENT IS EXTREMELY DIFFICULT TO COMPLETELY MISS, I RAN OVER IT WITH MY FRONT DRIVER SIDE WHEEL. THE IMPACT IMMEDIATELY FLATTENED MY TIRE. I WAS FORCED TO GET THE CAR TOWED TO THE CLOSEST SHOP AND I HAD TO PAY FOR A NEW WHEEL AS WELL AS THE DIAGNOSTICS TO ENSURE ITS COMPLETION. I HAVE A BILL IN HAND FOR $296.26 WHICH I FEEL STRONGLY THAT I SHOULD BE COMPENSATED FOR AS THE PAYMENT WAS 100% THE RESULT OF THE CONDITION OF THE ROAD. I DO NOT SEE ANY OPTION FOR UPLOADING AN IMAGE OF THE BILL; HOWEVER, I AM MORE THAN WILLING TO SUBMIT A COPY OF IT IF NEED BE. *TR

THE REMEDY FAILED TO REPAIR THE PROBLEM. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 19,000 AND THE 35,357.

THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 50 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 4,900.
