Followup Notice - In May 2018, we notified you of an Emission Recall involving the EVAP canister charge hose on your 2017 or 2018 CMX300/A or CMX500/A - Rebel motorcycle. At the time, we advised owner's of the following: Honda has determined that a defect related to emissions regulations exists in all model 2017 and certain model 2018 Honda CMX300/A and CMX500/A - Rebel motorcycles. The fuel vapor permeation of the EVAP canister charge hose exceeds the federal permeation standards. An updated part, made of a different material, is available to correct this condition.

Service bulletin - Honda is launching an EMISSION RECALL of all 2017, and certain 2018 CMX300/A and CMX500/A motorcycles to replace the EVAP canister charge hose with an updated part. The canister charge hose exceeds the federal fuel vapor permeation standard.
