ON DEC 24 2016 A VEHICLE WITH BRIGHT LIGHTS WAS FOLLOWING TO CLOSE TO ME. MOTORCYCLE WINDSHIELD WAS GLOWING A SLIGHTLY BLUE COLOR MAKING IT VERY DIFFICULT TO SEE THE ROADWAY. ANOTHER VEHICLE CUT ME OFF CAUSING ME TO CRASH DUE TO VISIBILITY THRU THE WINDSHIELD. I WAS DRIVING SLOWER DUE TO AN ENGINE VIIBRATION HONDA DEALERSHIPS COULD NOT REPAIR

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 HONDA SHADOW PHANTOM VT750 MOTORCYCLE. THE CONTACT WAS DRIVING 40 MPH WHEN THE MOTORCYCLE BEGAN TO VIOLENTLY SHAKE. THE MOTORCYCLE WAS TAKEN TO THE MANUFACTURER FOR DIAGNOSTIC TESTING BUT WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE CONTINUED AND THE MOTORCYCLE WAS DIAGNOSED THREE TIMES WHICH LOCATED THE FAILURE AS A FLAT TIRE, BENT RIMS AND LOOSE SCREWS IN THE STEERING HEAD BEARINGS. THE MOTORCYCLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE DEALER ALLOWED THE CONTACT TO RIDE ANOTHER MOTORCYCLE OF THE SAME YEAR, MAKE AND MODEL AND THE CONTACT EXPERIENCED THE SAME FAILURE IN THE SECOND MOTORCYCLE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 240 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 1,500. UPDATED 08/31/11*LJ
