TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2009 INDIAN CHIEF STANDARD MOTORCYCLE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT IN AN ATTEMPT TO HAVE THE VEHICLE REPAIRED UNDER NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBERS: 11V343000 (EXTERIOR LIGHTING:HEADLIGHTS:SWITCH) AND 11V344000 (STRUCTURE:MOTORCYCLE KICKSTAND/CENTER STAND) HE WAS ADVISED THAT THE DEALER WAS HAVING ISSUES WITH HAVING THE NECESSARY PARTS NEEDED FOR THE REPAIRS TO BE SHIPPED TO THE FACILITY. AFTER THREE MONTHS, THE PARTS WERE SHIPPED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 8,000. UPDATED 12/12/11*LJ THE CONSUMER ALSO STATED WHILE RIDING THE BIKE AT LOW SPEEDS, IT WILL STALL AT TIMES. 01/03/12
