2000 Intrigue Cook's Delight Owner Complaints

Reports submitted to NHTSA by owners and drivers, shown in full

Data refreshed

Complaints on fileComplaints are reports submitted to NHTSA by owners and drivers. NHTSA does not verify most reports before publishing them, and a complaint does not establish that a defect exists. Volume is influenced by how many of a vehicle were sold, how long it has been on the road, and how much attention an issue has received.

TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2000 INTRIGUE COOK'S DELIGHT COACH. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE MOTOR HOME WAS EQUIPPED WITH CREEPING WINDOWS. THE THREE PASSENGER'S SIDE WINDOWS, AND TWO DRIVER'S SIDE WINDOWS FROSTED AND THE VISIBILITY WAS POOR. THE MANUFACTURER DIAGNOSED THE FAILURE AS DEFECTIVE SEALS, BUT WILL NOT REPLACE THEM BECAUSE OF THE AGE OF THE MOTOR HOME. THE CURRENT AND FAILURE MILEAGE WERE 42,500.*AK UPDATED 04/30/07. *JB

2000 40' COUNTRY COACH INTRIGUE #11116 MILEAGE 42,500. THE WINDOWS WERE MANUFACTURED BY CE GI CORPORATION. THE WINDOWS WERE DEFECTIVE AND CREEPING. BECAUSE OF THEY RESTRICTED OUR VISION. THESE WINDOWS HAVE BEEN DEFECTIVE IN MOTOR HOMES OF ALL MAKES AND MODELS, NOT JUST IN COUNTRY COACHES. THE COMPANY HAS BEEN NOTIFIED FOR YEARS BY CUSTOMERS OF ALL MOTOR HOMES AND THE COMPANY REFUSED FIRST TO CORRECT THE SITUATION , AND SECOND TO COMPENSATE CUSTOMERS OF MOTOR HOMES AFFECTED BY THEIR DEFECTS. *AK
