ENROUTE TO MICHIGAN FROM HOME IN FLORIDA. DRIVING 1999 ITASCA CLASS C 29FT MOTORHOME. 30 MILES SOUTH OF LOUISVILLE, KY ON I-65, RIGHT REAR OUTSIDE DUAL TIRE FAILED. TIRE TREAD SEPARATED FROM THE STEEL BELT. TIRE IS A FIRESTONE STEELTEX R4S, STILL UNDER WARRANTY. THIS IS THE 3RD FIRESTONE TIRE TO FAIL IN THIS MANNER. TIRE WAS REPLACED. OLD TIRE WAS RETAINED BY THE DEALER.

CONTACTED BOTH MANUFACTURER/DEALER & INFORMED CONSUMER THAT SEATS WERE FINE & NO CHANGES WOULD BE MADE. *AK BOTH CAB SEATS ARE TILTED BACK AT REAR OF SEAT WHICH PUTS FRONT OF SEAT HIGH. *YH
