On [XXX], at approximately [XXX], I was a passenger in a Waymo autonomous vehicle traveling from [XXX] to Alamo Drafthouse New Mission in San Francisco, CA (fare $16.94). After exiting, I realized I had left my keys in the backseat. While standing outside the vehicle, I called Waymo phone support and asked the agent to stop/ground the car so I could retrieve my keys. Support did not stop the vehicle; it drove off with my keys inside. The vehicle's subsequent movements were tracked via an AirTag on the keychain: [XXX] at 6:28 PM; [XXX] around 6:53 PM; [XXX] around 7:50 PM. Waymo lost-item cases: [XXX] / [XXX] and [XXX] / [XXX]. Waymo vehicle made a sudden merge into my vehicle's lane despite only about 1 car space between me and another vehicle in front when the Waymo's lane was blocked. I had to swerve my car hard left to avoid the Waymo from colliding into my vehicle.
