2012 Jayco Fifth Wheel Eagle Owner Complaints

Reports submitted to NHTSA by owners and drivers, shown in full

Data refreshed

Complaints on fileComplaints are reports submitted to NHTSA by owners and drivers. NHTSA does not verify most reports before publishing them, and a complaint does not establish that a defect exists. Volume is influenced by how many of a vehicle were sold, how long it has been on the road, and how much attention an issue has received.

IN SEPT 2014 I HAD A BLOWOUT ON I75 ON MY JAYCO FIFTH WHEEL. THERE WAS DAMAGE TO THE RV. AFTER THE RV WAS REPAIRED IT WAS IN STORAGE UNTIL JUNE 28,2015, WHEN I HAD ANOTHER BLOW OUT, AND THEN 2 MORE ON JULY 1ST. EVERY TIRE WAS DESTROYED BECAUSE THE TREAD RIPPED OFF THE TIRE. I ALSO HAD DAMAGE TO THE 5TH WHEEL FROM EACH OF THESE BLOW OUTS. I FILED A CLAIM WITH GOODYEAR AS IT WAS OBVIOUS THE TIRES WERE DEFECTIVE. GOODYEAR REJECTED THE CLAIM SAYING THE TIRES MUST HAVE BEEN LOW ON AIR. I ALWAYS CHECK MY TIRES WHEN I AM LEAVING ON A TRIP AND I DO NOT OVERLOAD THE RV.
