What this page shows
Everything below is an owner-reported complaint submitted to NHTSA about the 2020 Jayco Seneca, grouped by the component NHTSA recorded on the report. These are not confirmed defects, and they are not recalls. NHTSA does not verify most reports before publishing them, and a category with more reports in it is not evidence that a part is defective.
Complaints are reports submitted by owners and drivers to NHTSA. They are not verified and do not establish that a defect exists.

From owner reports, verbatim
The fasteners for the front cap on the motorhome have failed and the front cap is separating from the body of the coach. Safety is an issue because a part of the vehicle is separating from the rest of the coach. We have contacted the dealer where our motorhome was purchased and pictures have been taken. We will be making arrangements for repair with Camping World in Golden, CO. The warning is the sight of the cover on both sides of the unit; the cover is separating from the coach and curling back. Our motorhome is low mileage (18,000 miles and a five year old vehicle). It has been housed in covered storage when not being used so weather and sun have not been a factor. January, 2025 we noticed the problem.
Too few reports in this category for a page of its own — they appear in the full complaint list.
Higher-selling and older vehicles accumulate more reports. Counts are not failure rates and are not directly comparable between vehicles that sold in very different numbers.
