WHEN DRIVING AT AN UNDETERMINED SPEED STEERING WHEEL PULLED TOWARDS THE RIGHT. CONSUMER TOOK THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALERSHIP FOR INSPECTION, AND MECHANIC DETERMINED THAT RIGHT LOWER BALL JOINTS FAILED. *AK CONSUMER WAS NEVER INFORMED THAT THERE WAS A RECALL ON VEHICLE. CONSUMER STATES THAT THE ALIGNMENT IS OFF CAUSING THE TIRES TO WEAR DOWN WITH IN 5000 MILES. DEALER NOTIFIED SAID THE ALIGNMENT WAS NOT OFF. NLM

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2000 JEEP LIBERTY. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE REAR DOOR LOCK FAILED. THE CONTACT WAS UNABLE TO UNLOCK THE REAR DOOR. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO THE DEALER TO HAVE A DIAGNOSTIC PERFORMED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 69,000.

WHILE APPLYING THE BRAKES PEDAL WENT TO THE FLOOR. THIS CAUSED A LOSS OF BRAKING POWER. VEHICLE STOPPED ON ITS OWN. DRIVER WAS ABLE TO MAINTAIN CONTROL OF THE VEHICLE, AND DROVE TO THE DEALER FOR INSPECTION. MECHANIC INFORMED THE DRIVER THAT THE PROBLEM COULD NOT BE DUPLICATED. *AK
