TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2009 JEEP WRANGLER 2DR-4X4. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING 40 MPH OVER A SLIGHT BUMP, THE VEHICLE BEGAN TO VIBRATE VIOLENTLY. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO BOTH AN AUTHORIZED DEALER AND AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC FOR DIAGNOSIS. THE STEERING DAMPER WAS REPLACED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE DEFECT. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 23,900. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE.
