The defect: PACCAR Incorporated (PACCAR) is recalling certain 2025 Kenworth C500, T680, T800, T880, W900, W990, Peterbilt 567, 579, and 589 trucks, equipped with Cummins X15 diesel engines. The fuel pump barrels may fracture and cause a fuel leak, which can result in an engine stall.
The risk: An engine stall increases the risk of a crash.
The remedy: Dealers will replace the fuel pump barrels, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed November 15, 2024. Owners may contact Kenworth's customer service at 1-425-828-5888 and Peterbilt's customer service at 1-940-591-4220. Owners may also contact Cummins Customer Service at 812-377-5000. PACCAR's numbers for this recall are 24KWH and 24PBH.

Safety Recall Refer to Cummins Safety Recall (Campaign) C7083. Cummins alerted Kenworth to a defect which relates to motor vehicle safety in certain Cummins X15 engines equipped with certain fuel pumps. Refer to Cummins Safety Recall (Campaign) C7083 for repair information.
