The defect: PACCAR Incorporated (PACCAR) is recalling certain 2021-2026 Peterbilt 220, 2022-2026 Kenworth K370, and 2020-2026 K270 Medium-Duty Battery Electric Vehicles. The cradle harness may have a loose electrical connection that can cause a loss of drive power.
The risk: A loss of drive power increases the risk of a crash.
The remedy: Dealers will inspect and replace the cradle harness as necessary, free of charge. Owner letters were mailed September 8, 2025. Owners may contact Peterbilt's customer service at 1-940-591-4220 and Kenworth's customer service at 1-425-828-5888. PACCAR's numbers for this recall are 25KWD and 25PBD.

A photo of the two ring terminals and a caution statement have been added to the Dana Cradle Harness Removal and Installation Procedure. Safety Recall Parts and procedures are now available. Interim flagging has been removed from chassis in the PACCAR Registration and Warranty System and will now display the safety recall number. Refer to Bulletin 99-048 for details. The chassis affected population has increased.

The chassis affected population has increased."
