I own two Chevy trucks 2006 2500 hd and 2018 3500 hd. The manual for each truck list almost identical camper loading information and methods of calculating center of gravity. The 2006 2500 sticker shows CWR 1647 lbs A dim 37" B dim 0". GVWR 9260, FRONT GAWR 4670 lbs REAR GAWR 6084 lbs. The 2018 3500 shows CWR 2941 lbs A dim 54" B dim 26" GVWR 11500, FRONT GAWR 5600 lbs REAR GAWR 7050 Which of the lance dealer installed equipment do I need to install on my vehicles to effectively raise the CWR for safe operation? Does the CWR provided by GM have a 1700 to 2000 lb safety margin that can be used safely, by installing lance dealer support equipment?

I discovered a defect that results in heater exhaust gases entering the living & sleeping compartment. The factory-installed heater exhaust duct was routed forward, under the kitchen counter, along the front edge approximately 1 to 2” below the underside surface. At the area, just forward of underside leading edge of the stove ‘drip pan', I discovered a crush and tear in the heater exhaust duct. The stove drip pan drops ~3” below the countertop; thus, the likely cause of the crush and of the tear. Note. It is reasonable to believe and it is more likely than not that: 1) The installation of the stove is the proximate cause of the damage 2) The installation of the duct is typical and compliant with the design data 3) The installation of the duct is typical for the manufacture of other 825 campers 4) The drip pan underside rounded edge partially but not totally sealed the defective opening, resulting in a latent danger 5) The duct will likely degrade and tear/open further over time 6) It is reasonable to believe and is more likely than not that long-term operation may result in Carbon Monoxide Poisoning or Death Consumer believes propane heater exhaust duct might in fact be a heat vent duct. Poor design/workmanship issue.
