What this page shows
Everything below is an owner-reported complaint submitted to NHTSA about the 1994 Land Rover Range Rover, grouped by the component NHTSA recorded on the report. These are not confirmed defects, and they are not recalls. NHTSA does not verify most reports before publishing them, and a category with more reports in it is not evidence that a part is defective.
Complaints are reports submitted by owners and drivers to NHTSA. They are not verified and do not establish that a defect exists.

WHILE I WAS DRIVING, I LOST ALL STEERING CONTROL AND ENDED UP IN A DITCH. I SUBSEQUENTLY LEARNED THAT ONE OF THE TIE RODS ON THE VEHICLE HAD COMPLETELY BROKEN. FURTHER, TWO OF THE OTHER THREE TIE RODS WERE UNSAFE. (TO ADD INSULT TO INJURY, I WAS BILLED FOR THE REPAIRS). ABOUT 20 MINUTES EARLIER, I WAS DRIVING ON THE EXPRESSWAY AT A SPEED OF 55-60 MPH, IF THIS OCCURRED WHILE I WAS AT THAT SPEED, I COULD HAVE BEEN KILLED. OTHER PEOPLE COULD ALSO HAVE BEEN KILLED.
