TSB: Hybrid and battery electric vehicles are equipped with two types of batteries: ?Hybrid Vehicle (HV) battery ?Auxiliary (12V) battery If the hybrid vehicle or battery electric vehicle is placed into storage, the State-Of-Charge (SOC) of its HV battery and auxiliary battery will gradually decrease. To prevent the auxiliary battery from becoming discharged during storage, proper maintenance is necessary.
TRAILER HITCHES; WHEELS
TSB: During the manufacturing process, tires are mounted on the vehicle as matched sets to help reduce conditions such as pulling or drifting. If the wheels are replaced or refinished before vehicle delivery, it is important that the tires remain on the vehicle in the same location and in the same direction of rotation.
EQUIPMENT
TSB: Long-term or off-site storage requires special care to keep vehicles factory fresh and ready for delivery. The following guidelines should be performed to minimize vehicle component/part degradation due to extended vehicle storage conditions. Long-term storage can affect a vehicle?s systems and components. Any problems that are found should be corrected immediately.
ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; HYBRID PROPULSION SYSTEM
TSB: This bulletin provides general high-voltage safety precautions for the HV/EV system. These high voltages are dangerous and can cause personal injury, severe burns, electric shock, and death if proper safety precautions are NOT followed. Be sure to carefully review ALL applicable Repair Manual procedures BEFORE performing service. Lexus strongly recommends that Service Technicians complete Master Certification status before performing any service repair work on high-voltage systems.
ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:ADAS:BLINDSPOT:SENSORS; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:ADAS:PARKING ASSIST:SENSORS
TT: Select 2022-2023MY Lexus vehicles are equipped with Advanced Park. The Advanced Park system assists in safely and smoothly parking in a target parking space by displaying the blind spots around the vehicle and the parking spot through a bird?s eye view, delivering operation guidance through displays and buzzer operation, and changing the shift position, operating the steering wheel, accelerator pedal, and brake pedal. The Lexus smartphone app Remote Park feature will not be available for 2022-2023 NX, 2023 RX, & 2023 RZ vehicles equipped with Advanced Park. To minimize guest dissatisfaction, Lexus will ask dealers to disable the Remote Park feature during the PDS process on 2022-2023 NX, 2023 RX, & 2023 RZ vehicles equipped with Advanced Park. The Advanced Park feature will still operate.
Manufacturers file copies of the bulletins they send to dealers with NHTSA. These often describe diagnostic or repair procedures for a known condition. They are not recalls: repairs described in a bulletin are usually only free if the vehicle is still under warranty or the manufacturer has extended coverage.
