What this page shows
Everything below is an owner-reported complaint submitted to NHTSA about the 2023 Lexus Ux Hybrid, grouped by the component NHTSA recorded on the report. These are not confirmed defects, and they are not recalls. NHTSA does not verify most reports before publishing them, and a category with more reports in it is not evidence that a part is defective.
Complaints are reports submitted by owners and drivers to NHTSA. They are not verified and do not establish that a defect exists.

From owner reports, verbatim
All doors were closed and no warnings on the dash before I started driving and I made sure kids lock was engaged by checking the door lock status inside the vehicle because I had two kids sitting on the back seat with car seat installed. However, while I was driving at 30 mp/h, the door open warning appeared on the dash indicated that the left rear door was not closed and the chime was played continuously, I panic'd because I had kids in the rear seats and I ended up getting hit by a tree. Luckily kids were safe but I had no idea why the door decide to unlock and opened itself while driving, which could have been worse if I was on highway..
Too few reports in this category for a page of its own — they appear in the full complaint list.
Higher-selling and older vehicles accumulate more reports. Counts are not failure rates and are not directly comparable between vehicles that sold in very different numbers.
