Both trailer drawbars where they connect to the main frame of the trailer cracked where on the verge of failure.
The contact owns a 2018 Livin' Lite Camplite. The contact stated that the welding that attached the tongue of the trailer to the frame had fractured. The contact had taken the vehicle to a welding shop however, the vehicle was not repaired. The contact had not taken the vehicle to the dealer. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue and opened a case regarding the failure. The approximate failure mileage was unknown.
THE ALUMINUM FRAME IS CRACKING IN THE SAME MANNER AS RECALL 18V643000 ON OTHER CAMPLIE MODELS. THESE CRACKS COULD RESULT IN THE LOSS OF THE TRAILER, POTENTIALLY CAUSING INJURY OR DEATH. *DT CONSUMER HAS CONTACTED THE MANUFACTURER, REPAIRS HAVE NOT BEEN ATTEMPTED- WAITING ON MANUFACTURER TO A "KIT" TO A LOCAL WELDING SHOP. CONSUMER STATED HE WAS NOTIFIED WHEN SHIPPED, CONSUMER HASN'T HEARD FROM THEM YET.*JB *DT*JB
ALUMINUM FRAME CRACKING AT DRAWBAR ATTACHMENT. A RECALL 18V643000 WAS ISSUED RECENTLY FOR THE 21 AND 23 MODELS- MY 16 IS HAVING THE SAME ISSUE. DRAWBAR DETACHMENT WOULD RESULT IN LOSS OF TRAILER PERHAPS CAUSING INJURY OR DEATH.

THE CONTACT RECEIVED NOTIFICATION OF NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 18V643000 (STRUCTURE) AND STATED THAT THE MANUFACTURER EXCEEDED A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME FOR THE RECALL REPAIR. THE LOCAL DEALER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED AND STATED THAT THE TRANSPORTATION FEES WOULD BE AT THE OWNER'S EXPENSE. THE CONTACT WAS REFERRED TO A LOCAL DEALER. THE CONTACT HAD NOT EXPERIENCED A FAILURE.
