TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 LONG CHIH USA TRAILER. SHE STATED THAT THE HITCH UNHOOKED FROM THE TRAILER. SHE ALSO STATED WHILE HAULING LUMBER, THE HITCH BECAME UNHOOKED AND NEARLY CAUSED A CRASH DUE TO THE BALL NOT FITTING PROPERLY.. THE OWNER RE-WELDED THE TRAILER; HOWEVER, THE LUG NUTS WERE LOOSE AND THE WHEEL CAME OFF OF THE TRAILER. THE CONTACT HAS HAD SEVERAL FAILURES WITH THE TRAILER. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS UNKNOWN. UPDATED 10/06/09 *BF INSTRUCTIONS LISTED THE BALL SIZE AS 17/8 BUT IT WAS NOT, IT WAS SMALLER AND CAME OFF. IT BENT THE TONGUE SEVERLY AND HAD TO BE CUT OFF OFF COMPLETELY AND A NEW STEEL TONGUE HAD TO BE WELDED ON. A WEEK LATER, THE LEFT WHEEL FELL OFF. THE NUTS WERE MADE OF ORDINARY COLD ROLL INSTED OF LEADED ALLOY AND DO NOT LOCK DOWN PROPERLY. UPDATED 10/08/09
