The defect: Mack Trucks, Inc. (Mack) is recalling certain 2025 LR, Granite, and Pinnacle vehicles equipped with Composilite EXS20 steerable lift axle suspension assemblies. The tie rod assembly ball stud could have been improperly heat treated and can fail.
The risk: The ball stud can separate from the vehicle becoming a road hazard, increasing the risk of a crash.
The remedy: Dealers will inspect and replace the tie rod end assemblies as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed July 15, 2024. Owners may contact Mack customer service at 1-800-866-1177. Mack's number for this recall is SC0468.

The defect: Mack Trucks, Inc. (Mack) is recalling certain 2024-2025 LR natural gas vehicles. The methane detector may be inoperative due to a missing fuse.
The risk: An inoperative methane detector can fail to detect a gas leak, increasing the risk of a fire or injury.
The remedy: Dealers will install a fuse, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed April 10, 2024. Owners may contact Mack customer service at 1-800-866-1177. Mack's number for this recall is SC0461.

Manufacturer communication
