Our database holds 2 NHTSA owner-reported complaints for the 2020 Mazda Mazda6. Each one is a report filed by an owner or driver and published by NHTSA without most of them being verified. A complaint is not a confirmed defect, not a recall and not a manufacturer bulletin. Narratives are shown exactly as filed.

EXCESSIVE PAINT CHIPPING. I HAVE THE SOUL RED (V46) PAINT. IT WAS PURCHASED ON 06JUN2020 AND HAS ONLY 2,000 MILES BUT IT HAS 3 LARGE CHIPS. MOST OF THE MILES ARE JUST GOING TO THE STORE. I WORK FROM HOME SO I DON'T DRIVE BUT A COUPLE DAYS A WEEK.
Higher-selling and older vehicles accumulate more reports. Counts are not failure rates and are not directly comparable between vehicles that sold in very different numbers.
