The defect: McNeilus Truck & Manufacturing, Inc. (McNeilus) is recalling certain 2020-2022 STD Mixer and Bridgemaster Mixer Trucks. The labels that provide instructions to the operator on the proper operation of the mixer's functions were not installed.
The risk: The operator may not be aware of the proper operation of the mixer's functions, increasing the risk of an injury.
The remedy: McNeilus will inspect and install any missing labels, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed on July 18, 2022. Owners may contact McNeilus' customer service at 1-888-868-7278.

McNeilus Truck and Manufacturing identified an issue with over-torqued bolts on the lower ladder platform. The bolts used to secure the lower ladders to the lower ladder platform were over-torqued causing the bolts to fail. New hardware needs to be installed in placed of the over-torqued bolts.

McNeilus Truck and Manufacturing offers these instructions for replacing incorrect fuses on the Power Distribution Module (PDM) on certain Standard Rear Discharge Mixer. Some fuses on PDM have been identified with the incorrect amperage on some Standard Mixer trucks. These fuses need to be replaced: F1, F3, F4, F6, and F16. Two of the fuses power the body control module, one powers the fan, and one is sensor power. The functions for which these fuses provide power do not affect safety on the vehicle.

Inspection and possible rework required on drum flange bolt torqueing specifications on certain Rear Discharge Mixer vehicles.
