The defect: McNeilus Truck & Manufacturing, Inc. (McNeilus) is recalling certain 2024 Atlantic and Zero Radius Side Loader vehicles equipped with certain Agility Fuel Solutions CNG Fuel Systems, using part number 10300466. The manual cylinder valves may develop stress corrosion cracks in the bottom plugged port, causing a leak.
The risk: A natural gas leak in the presence of an ignition source increases the risk of a fire.
The remedy: Agility will replace the valves, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed January 17, 2025 by Agility. Owners may contact Agility customer service at 1-844-474-7400 or McNeilus customer service at 1-888-686-7278.

The defect: McNeilus Truck & Manufacturing, Inc. (McNeilus) is recalling certain 2015-2024 Zero Radius refuse trucks. The side loader arm may not be properly secured, resulting in unexpected movement while driving.
The risk: A side loader arm that unexpectedly extends out from the vehicle body while driving increases the risk of a crash.
The remedy: McNeilus will provide new latch assemblies, free of charge. In addition, a McNeilus technician will update the vehicle software, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed October 18, 2024. Owners may contact McNeilus' customer service at 1-888-686-7278.

Manufacturer communication
Manufacturers file copies of the bulletins they send to dealers with NHTSA. These often describe diagnostic or repair procedures for a known condition. They are not recalls: repairs described in a bulletin are usually only free if the vehicle is still under warranty or the manufacturer has extended coverage.
