Our database holds 2 NHTSA owner-reported complaints for the 2018 Mercedes-Benz GLC 350. Each one is a report filed by an owner or driver and published by NHTSA without most of them being verified. A complaint is not a confirmed defect, not a recall and not a manufacturer bulletin. Narratives are shown exactly as filed.
Complaints are reports submitted by owners and drivers to NHTSA. They are not verified and do not establish that a defect exists.

P052E Error in the control panel appears a light engine
There is a problem with the fuel pressure sensor or wiring to the fuel pump control unit. This causes the fuel bay door to malfunction, meaning sometimes it won't open and sometimes it opens on its own. Today, my local Mercedes dealer (Mercedes of Seattle) quoted $5081.00 to repair this. See attached electronic quote that I rejected and then it disappeared but I saved a screenshot of it. The car has less than 20,000 miles on it. This issue first appeared about a year ago, indicated by a solid yellow warning light (vehicle icon) on the dashboard.
Higher-selling and older vehicles accumulate more reports. Counts are not failure rates and are not directly comparable between vehicles that sold in very different numbers.
