Data refreshed

Complaints on fileComplaints are reports submitted to NHTSA by owners and drivers. NHTSA does not verify most reports before publishing them, and a complaint does not establish that a defect exists. Volume is influenced by how many of a vehicle were sold, how long it has been on the road, and how much attention an issue has received.

AT 0730 on 16 March, 2026 I was traveling northbound on XXX in [XXX] . Temp was 55 degress Farenheight and the wind was in excess of 20 knots. I was going 60 MPH. Suddenly a large "gun shot" sound echoed through the car startling me excessively. I thought the engine had blown up or all the vehicle tires exploded. I was able to gain control of the car and pull into the emergency lane where I quickly deteremined the Panoranmic Sun Roof had exploded and shards of glass where everywhere. There was no warning and this event was tramatic. Could have caused a serious accident. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)
