The defect: Mercedes-Benz USA, LLC (MBUSA) is recalling certain 2020-2021 GLE350, GLE450, GLS450, GLS580, 2021 AMG GLE53, AMG GLE63, Maybach GLS600, AMG GLS63, and 2020 GLE580 vehicles. The air conditioner drain hoses may have been incorrectly installed, causing water to drain into the passenger compartment.
The risk: Water intrusion into the foot wells may cause corrosion and/or short circuits to electrical components, increasing the risk of fire. In addition, the emergency call (eCall) feature may be disabled and the doors may not unlock, increasing the risk of injury. Also, the engine may not start or may enter a limp-home mode, increasing the risk of a crash.
The remedy: Dealers will inspect and reinstall the air conditioner drain hoses, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed April 28, 2023. Owners may contact MBUSA customer service at 1-800-367-6372. This recall is an expansion of recall numbers 21V-288 and 19V-587. MBUSA's numbers for this recall are 2023030014 and 15.

The defect: Mercedes-Benz USA, LLC (MBUSA) is recalling certain 2020-2022 GLE350, GLE450, GLS450, 2021-2022 AMG GLE53, 2020-2021 GLE580, GLS580, and 2021 GLE400e, AMG GLS63, AMG GLE63 S, and Maybach GLS600 vehicles. Due to a manufacturing error, the rear door window trim bars may detach.
The risk: Detached trim bars may cause a road hazard and increase the risk of a crash or injury.
The remedy: Dealers will inspect and secure the rear window trim bars, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed November 1, 2022. Owners may contact MBUSA customer service at 1-800-367-6372. MBUSA's number for this recall is 2022090010.

The defect: Mercedes-Benz USA, LLC (MBUSA) is recalling certain 2020-2022 GLE450, GLS450, 2021-2022 AMG GLE53, 2020-2021 GLE580, GLS580, 2021 AMG GLE63, Maybach GLS600 and AMG GLS63 vehicles. A ground cable bolt for the 48V ground connection under the front passenger seat may not be secured properly, which can cause the electrical cable to overheat.
The risk: An overheated electrical cable can increase the risk of a fire.
The remedy: Dealers will inspect and tighten the ground cable bolt, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed July 8, 2022. Owners may contact MBUSA customer service at 1-800-367-6372. MBUSA's number for this recall is 2022040017.

Update right rear seat control unit software. - To do this, select menu item "Quick test view – N32/6 – Right rear electrical seat adjustment – Adaptations – Update of control unit software". - Then follow the user guidance in XENTRY Diagnosis. 4. Mercedes-Benz AG, the manufacturer of Mercedes-Benz vehicles, has determined that on certain MY21-24 C-Class, CLA, EQB, EQE, EQS, GLA, GLB, GLC, GLE, GLS, GT, S-Class, and SL (118, 167, 192, 206, 223, 232, 243, 247, 254, 290, 294, 295, 296 and 297 platform) vehicles, the MBUX system software does not correspond with the latest series production configuration. The MBUX system will receive an OTA update that includes general product improvements and robustness enhancements for a better entertainment experience. MBUSA will conduct an OTA service campaign. Remote software updates are automatically downloaded and installed in the customer’s vehicle free of charge and do not require a dealer visit. No customer letter will be mailed for this OTA software update.

High-frequency interference noise may be heard from the speakers while driving. This complaint only occurs when "voice amplification" is active. Coupling noise of microphone signal in voice amplification. Intermediate remedy: The interference noise can be remedied by deactivating voice amplification: "Home" -> "Settings" -> "System" -> "Audio" and de-select "Voice amplification to rear" to switch off the function (see attachment). Note: To activate or deactivate the function, the ignition must be switched on, seat belts (at rear and front) must be fitted and the doors, windows and roof must be closed. Permanent solution: Perform software update of MBUX multimedia system (A26/17) to E419.5 (available from 06/19) or greater. Deactivate the ‘voice amplification’ feature. Inform customer of function and effects of additional sounds caused by driving over bumps or uneven road surfaces.

In our continuing efforts to assure the proper performance of Mercedes-Benz products and to enhance the satisfaction of our customers, Mercedes-Benz USA (MBUSA) is extending the coverage for the Fuel System Control Module (FSCM) software on your vehicle from the original New Vehicle Limited Warranty of 4 years / 50,000 miles to 1 S year: / 150,000 mile: (whichever occurs: first), and applies to the vehicle regardless of ownership. Why the warranty extension? On certain Model Year 2019 - 2021 A/CLA/ GLA/GLB/ GLE and GLS-Class vehicles, the FSCM software for the fuel pressure sensor and temperature plausibility checks may not meet specifications. As a result, the check engine Malfunction Indicator Lamp ('MIL') might illuminate. Any repair: under this warranty extension must be performed by an authorized Mercedes-Benz dealership. If your preferred authorized Mercedes-Benz dealership performs a diagnosis and confirms that your vehicle has the issue, the repair will be performed at no cost to you. This extended warranty does not apply to any other components or conditions beyond the ones mentioned above, and standard warranty terms apply, including the exclusions with respect to extra expenses, as identified in the Service and Warranty Information booklet. Customer concern of Air Conditioning not cooling. Possible refrigerant leak at the evaporator. Perform the following measures and open a TIPS case labeled "167 Evaporator Suspected of Leaking" In the case, please include the following: 1. Attach the Initial Quick Test 2. Short video of the actual pressures via AC machine, showing the engine running, and hold a copy of the VIN/RO in view as well. 3. Picture of the forming gas check being performed with VIN/RO in view. 4. OBS recording of XENTRY AC actual values of compressor request to be on and current value. (s 5.
