What this page shows
Everything below is an owner-reported complaint submitted to NHTSA about the 2022 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 1500, grouped by the component NHTSA recorded on the report. These are not confirmed defects, and they are not recalls. NHTSA does not verify most reports before publishing them, and a category with more reports in it is not evidence that a part is defective.
Complaints are reports submitted by owners and drivers to NHTSA. They are not verified and do not establish that a defect exists.

Tires & wheels
Reports naming tires, wheels, hubs, or the tire-pressure monitoring system.
From owner reports, verbatim
The component that has failed has been the tread wearing out and as well as the 'layers' of the tire literally started to peel almost the size of a quarter. I am extremely uncomfortable to drive on the highway, knowing these tires are this early on starting to fall apart. The problem was confirmed by a dealer however neither the dealer or KUMHO wants to accept responsibility. These specific tires are meant for 6 years or 70k miles and this problem started around 29k miles. There were no warning lamps/ they have not been inspected by anyone as they claim it is not their problem, however last time I checked that is what warranties are meant for. I am displeased by the tires and will not pay for new ones knowing that these are prematurely falling apart.
Too few reports in this category for a page of its own — they appear in the full complaint list.
Higher-selling and older vehicles accumulate more reports. Counts are not failure rates and are not directly comparable between vehicles that sold in very different numbers.
