The defect: Daimler Coaches North America (Daimler Coaches) is recalling certain 2022-2025 Mercedes Benz Tourrider Business and Premium transits buses. The fixate stop bracket on the driver's seat backrest may not be installed. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 207, "Seating Systems," and 210, "Seat Belt Assembly Anchorages."
The risk: Without a fixate stop bracket, the backrest may fold forward during a crash and increase the risk of injury.
The remedy: Daimler Coaches will inspect the driver's seat and install a fixate stop as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 12, 2025. Owners may contact Daimler Coaches at 1-416-624-3558. Daimler Coaches number for this recall is 91.10T25237A.

The defect: Daimler Coaches North America (Daimler Coaches) is recalling certain 2022-2024 Mercedes Benz Tourrider Business and Tourrider Premium vehicles. The roof hatch handle may break. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 217, "Bus Emergency Exits and Window Retention and Release."
The risk: A broken handle could prevent or delay occupants from exiting the vehicle during an emergency, increasing the risk of injury.
The remedy: Dealers will replace the handle, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed April 05, 2024. Owners may contact Daimler Coaches customer service at 1-416-624-3558. Daimler Coaches number for this recall is 83.10T24281A.

The defect: Daimler Coaches North America (Daimler Coaches) is recalling certain 2022-2024 Mercedes Benz Tourrider Business and Mercedes Benz Tourrider Premium vehicles equipped with BraunAbility wheelchair lifts. The outer barrier may deploy unexpectedly. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 403, "Platform Lift Systems."
The risk: Unexpected outer barrier deployment may result in the platform not securely retaining the wheelchair, increasing the risk of injury to lift occupants.
The remedy: Dealers will relocate the ground sensing pressure switch, free of charge. Owner notification were mailed March 26, 2024. Owners may contact Daimler Coaches customer service at 1-416-624-3558. Daimler Coaches number for this recall is TI 86.10T24282A.
