BOTH BALL JOINTS ON THE CONSUMERS 1996 MITSUBISHI GALANT FAILED, BREAKING THE DRIVE AXLE. *TS AFTER DOING SOME RESEARCH, THE CONSUMER DISCOVERED A RECALL HAD BEEN ISSUED FOR THE BALL JOINTS. THE CONSUMER NEVER RECEIVED ANY TYPE OF NOTIFICATION. THE CONSUMER WAS TOLD BY THE MANUFACTURER THAT THE RECALL WORK HAD ALREADY BEEN DONE, HOWEVER THAT PROVED TO BE NOT TRUE AND SINCE THEN THE MANUFACTURER HAS AGREED TO PAY FOR THE COST OF THE BALL JOINT, BUT NOTHING ELSE WHICH WOULD BE A LITTLE OVER 200.00, HOWEVER THE TOTAL COST OF THE REPAIR BILLS WERE CLOSE TO 1000.00. *JB
