COMPUTER FAILS CAUSING CAR TO SURGE AND STOP, USUALLY AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS. BRAKE ROTORS WARP AND CAUSE STEERWHEEL VIBRATION WHEN BRAKING
THE HARMONIC BALANCER FAILED. NLM
RECALL WORK ON TIMING BELT PERFORMED (40,000) HOWEVER FAILED RESULTING IN DAMAGE TO ENGINE WHEN BELT FAILED.
TIMING BELT FAILED AT 47,000 MILES, NOT DUE FOR MAINTENANCE UNTIL 60,000 MILES PER MANUAL.
