What this page shows
Everything below is an owner-reported complaint submitted to NHTSA about the 2010 Mitsubishi > Lancer Sportback Rallia, grouped by the component NHTSA recorded on the report. These are not confirmed defects, and they are not recalls. NHTSA does not verify most reports before publishing them, and a category with more reports in it is not evidence that a part is defective.
Complaints are reports submitted by owners and drivers to NHTSA. They are not verified and do not establish that a defect exists.

MY VEHICLE HAS 68000 MILES ON IT. THE AYC PUMP HAS FAILED. THIS IS A $2200 PART PLUS LABOR. THE TWIN CLUTCH SST TRANSMISSION HAS FAILED. THIS IS A $13,000 TRANSMISSION PLUS LABOR. THIS IS RIDICULOUS THAT THESE TWO HIGHLY EXPENSIVE PARTS HAVE FAILED SO EARLY IN THIS VEHICLES LIFE. ALSO, IT IS JUST OUT OF WARRANTY FROM THE MANUFACTURER. 8,000 MILES OUT OF POWERTRAIN WARRANTY TO BE EXACT. HOW STRANGE...I WISH MITSUBISHI WOULD MAKE GOOD ON THESE VEHICLES. IT IS DISHONEST AND WRONG. ALSO THE MANUFACTURER RECOMMENDED MAINTENANCE WAS 100% PERFORMED ON TIME AND BY THE PROPER DEALER - AN OUTRAGED (FORMER) CUSTOMER
MADE IT 1/4MILE FROM MY HOUSE.IT WAS 6AM ,RUNNING 35 TO 40MPH ,HEADLIGHTS AND TAILLIGHTS WENT OUT .DASH STARTED SAYING THE HOOD WAS OPEN AND THE TRANNY NEEDED SERVICED AND HAD TO DRIVE IT BACK HOME IN THE DARK.FOLLOWING BEHIND MY HONDA VAN .THE BRAKE LIGHTS STILL WORKED.. GOT IT HOME AND PARKED IT , LATER THAT DAY I TRIED TO START IT AND IT WOULD JUST RUN A SECOND AND DIE... DISCONNECTED BATTERY , RECONNECTED AND NOW EVERYTHING SEEMS TO BE WORKING , NOW HAS A CODE FOR THE RIGHT REAR SPEED SENSOR AND THE ABS LIGHT IS ON . .
