TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2003 MONACO COACH MONARCH SE. THE CONTACT STATED THE RECREATIONAL VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER TO HAVE NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER: SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC: FOUNDATION REPAIR PERFORMED. THE REPAIR DID NOT CORRECT THE FAILURE. THE ROTORS ALSO FAILED WHEN THE BRAKES WERE APPLIED WHICH ALSO CAUSED THE BRAKE PEDAL TO EXTEND TO THE FLOOR WHILE DRIVING 50 MPH. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN BACK TO THE DEALER WHO ONLY REPLACED THE PASSENGERS REAR ROTORS AND THE ABS SENSOR. THE DRIVERS FRONT, REAR AND PASSENGER FRONT ROTORS WERE NOT REPLACED. THE ROTORS ALSO OVERHEATED AND CRACKED. THE MANUFACTURER STATED THEY WOULD NOT ASSIST WITH THE REPAIRS BECAUSE THE RECALL WAS NOT RELATED AND DID NOT CAUSE THE ROTORS TO OVER HEAT OR CRACK. THE RECREATIONAL VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE AND THE CURRENT MILES WERE 55,950.

TL* - THE CONTACT CALLED REGARDING THE 2003 MONACO MONARCH SE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WATER LEAKED INTO THE MOTOR HOME. THE CONTACT STATED THAT NEW SEALS WERE PUT IN THE MOTOR HOME. CARBON MONOXIDE ENTERED THE VEHICLE DUE TO THE GENERATOR. THE CONTACT STATED HAS NOT USED THE GENERATOR SINCE 8/03. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 4300. THE CONTACT STATED THE UNIT WAS BUILT POORLY, AND HE FELT UNSAFE TRAVELING IN THE MOTOR HOME. *AK
